Too Ghoul For School…

More people have been out celebrating this US imported  festivity than ever... and its not all kids "Trick or Treating".  To honor the annual celebration of the most haunted day of the year, we’ve thrown together a list of songs that should be included on this year’s Halloween playlist!

Starting with ‘Spooky’, for a romantic night in with the warm tones of Dusty Springfield! Shortly followed by ‘Bewitched’.

Then there are the fancy dress disco creations. Fake blood, masks matching glittery suits and full bear outfits, ready to break into dance. There’s only one song that really is an absolute essential for this playlist and it’s not hard to guess. ‘Thriller’ Michael Jackson.

If you want to watch Halloween impersonated, watch the video for ‘I Put A Spell On You’ where Screamin Jay Hawkins flashing his sclera whilst dangling a plastic skeleton off his wrist. This is a gem not to be missed!

‘Ghost town’ (The Specials) takes us on a post-apocalyptic drive through of a scar ridden London landscape, screeching choruses and howling vocals that leaves you feeling there is no place like home…. Who needs Kansas?

A few more to be thrown into the Halloween mix; ‘Monster Mash’, ‘The Witch’-The Sonics, ‘Monster’- Kanye West…

And representing for the top Halloween tune for 2014 and one of our favorite artists at the moment after his recent comeback, Jamie T and ‘Zombie’.
